Here I show you the personal project I developed around International Women’s Day.
Sketches
I chose these 3 sentences:
- Stronger together
- Women support women
- Feminist
- Why these phrases? For a question of composition and the possibilities that the design gave me with 3 sentences of different lengths. I wanted to play, in a varied way, with the letters in each of them: to work with different sizes and positions of the letters for each design. And this visual decision is always connected to the elements that complete the illustration.
- I was clear from the beginning that I wanted the same colour palette, with different backgrounds to create different colour combinations on each sheet.

T-shirts
In addition to prints, I produced a small run of T-shirts with the word “FEMINIST” using the handmade silk-screen printing technique:

Intervention in shops
In the middle of the project, I also decided to propose the option of physically intervening the shop windows of 2 of my favourite shops / art galleries in Madrid.
